(February 2022) The free online training series of ElectraIC continued with “BE PREPARED FOR ISO/SAE 21434 COMPLIANCE: GET STARTED LEARNING AUTOMOTIVE CYBERSECURITY” webinar, realized on February 15, 2022. The webinar was organized in cooperation with ElectraIC’s solution partner, CYRES, the consulting and training company operating in the field of cyber security in the automotive industry based in Germany. 

The instructor of the webinar was Manuel SANDLER, Associate Partner at CYRES Consulting. Mr. Sandler has many years of experience in global project and process management in various parts of the value chain, including OEMs and Tier-1. He is Provisional Assessor in ASPICE and an expert in Engineering Process Development, ISO 26262, ISO/IEC 15288, and ISO/SAE 21434 Road Vehicles - Cybersecurity Engineering, to which he contributed as a member of the Working Group.

When it comes to compliance along the ISO/SAE 21434 standard, it's also about delivering and proving automotive cybersecurity competencies. This was exactly what we talked about in our free webinar.

In detail, the webinar covered topics such as “Introduction to Standards and Regulations in Automotive Cybersecurity”, “How does ISO/SAE 21434 (and beyond) affect your organization, development projects, and single roles?”, “Cybersecurity competence management as a major success factor for compliance”, “CYRES Academy training courses and official certifications with TÜV Rheinland Certified Qualification”.

During the last 15 minutes of the webinar, a live training with Manuel Sandler had also taken place in order to learn what was next in automotive cybersecurity.

The webinar lasted for an hour and before closing, Mr. Sandler answered the questions of the participants.
