(March 2022) The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) released new guidance, AMC 20-152A, in 2020 in the development of electronic hardware in airborne systems. This guidance also describes acceptable means when applying DO-254.
The training delivered by Ateş BERNA, Doulos Certified Instructor and General Manager of ElectraIC, lasted 1.5 hours. This webinar described the attendees additional guidance and clarification provided in AMC 20-152A for the development of custom devices, including the use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) intellectual property (IP), for the use of COTS devices and for the development of circuit board assemblies (CBAs). At the end of the webinar, Ateş BERNA answered the questions.
