QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced engineer who will manage the software team, work hand in hand with our HR and set up the team from scratch.

You will be part of a team working on global embedded software projects. You are also expected to support management during the initial discussions with our customers to identify customer needs and propose technical solutions to address those needs. This is a challenging role and will add new knowledge to you in every new project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related areas
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience is required
• Strong C, C++ programming skills 
• Knowledge of L2/L3/MPLS switching/routing rules in general is an important plus
• Hands-on experience on switch/router embedded system software development
• Ability to design & develop software independently and rapidly
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Good command of English

Desired Skills:

• Experience with switch/router products
• Networking software developments experience in L2/L3 protocols development, device driver, firewall and SD-WAN solution

Job Description:

• As part of the projects, involve in the development, testing and escalation engineer work
• Involve in the development of switching protocols from scratch
• Involve in manual device testing and Automation. This involves writing test plan, setting network topology and creating setup, manual testing, writing script and automating the feature test.
• Development work involves - Scoping, Feasibility study, preparing Product Requirement Document, Coding, Unit Testing, Quality check, Regression Testing, Commit etc.
• Sustenance work involves - Bug Fixing, Service Request handling, Critical escalated issues. This involves creating a setup locally to recreate the issue, coding, unit test, review code changes done by teams etc.
• Profile is more oriented towards a C++ developer than towards a hard-core-tester as the scope is low-level testing
