ISO 26262
Functional safety features form an integral part of each automotive product development phase, ranging from the specification, to design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, and production release. EN 50129
This standard applies to safety-related electronic systems (including sub-systems and equipment) for Railway Signalling Applications. EN 50129 Railway applications are communication, signaling, and processing systems / safety-related electronic systems for signaling. Thus, this standard is intended to apply to all safety-related railway signaling systems/sub-systems/equipment.
